D2L: Checking the Accessibility of HTML Files

Question: How can I check the accessibility of my HTML files in D2L?

Answer: Use the D2L "Check Accessibility" tool.

• In Materials > Content, under the Upload/Create button, you will see “Create a File”.  This creates a HTML file. 
• In the lower right corner of the HTML Editor window, you will see the Check Accessibility  and the Preview  features. 
• These features check to make sure your HTML page is accessible and that it looks correct before you save the document and make it available to your students.
